Several of our RV'r friends had recommended this RV resort, and their recommendations were well placed. This is a beautiful, well-designed, and meticulously-maintained RV resort complete with lush landscaping, great amenities including pavillions, indoor pools, walking trails, RV-Truck plaza, and of course, the Seven Feathers Resort Hotel and Casino.
This facility is owned by the Cow Creek Band of the Umpqua Tribe of Indians.

Life is funny, sometimes. In the past, BB has avoided casinos like the plague, largely due to the fact that the constant electronic "ding-ding" of the slot machines, coupled with the pervasive cigarette smoke, gave her an immediate headache. The last time we were in a casino was in Atlantic City with some friends. BB lasted about 2 minutes before she was ready to go.
In the past, I have avoided sour cream about like BB had avoided casinos.
Last night, however, after dinner in the casino, BB suggested we go play the "ding-dings" (a slang our friend Lou Ida calls the slot machines.) We did indeed play the slots, selecting the quarter machines, in a non-smoking section of the casino. We promptly lost our initial investment of $40 which is generally what the casino hopes will happen. Perhaps the fact that we contributed in some small way to the Cow Creek Band of the Umpqua Indian Tribe is one of the reasons that the RV rates are surprisingly reasonable. However, today, BB suggested that we return and play the ding-dings again tonight. I'll bet we do much better tonight!
So if BB now doesn't mind going to casinos, I guess I'm now going to have to eat a bowl of sour cream.
We'll see how that works.
Stay tuned!
