Arizona and Tombstone Territories RV Resort: November 22 through ?

Welcome to Arizona

On Thursday November 21, we left Alpine and drove to Las Cruces, New Mexico for a one-night stay at the Hacienda RV Resort.  Not much time to tour New Mexico, but we did visit old town Mesilla.  After New Mexico on November 22, 2013, BB, Henri and I crossed into Arizona.  Our home for the next few weeks is the Tombstone Territories RV Resort.

Alpine & Big Bend: 11/14-21/2013

After Camp Wood, Bonnie Henri and I pulled to West Texas as our last stop in Texas.  We visited this part of the world back during Christmas, 2011, although in a differen RV (see previous post).

Camp Wood: November 12-14, 2013

Our next leg heading west was a short visit my hometown Camp Wood to visit family.  Although not a long stay, we were able to visit with Aunt Reba Hicks and my cousin Sondra Madden.

Bastrop State Park: November 7-11, 2013

After San Antonio, we arrived back at the Bastrop State Park (see previous post), for a visit with Shelly, Blake, Lydia and Grant Hewett.

Georgetown & San Antonio: 10/30 - 11/7/13.

From Rockport, we went back for a short visit in Georgetown to see family and friends, (breakfast with Norvell and Bonnie, luch with Terrace,) and take care of some final details (annual physical for Paul, drop off more stuff at the storeroom, etc.) on 10/30 through Halloween.  We stayed at the New Life RV park in Georgetown. This is a nice park, with a fair percentage of "full-timers", bur normally always space for us transients.  Very clean park, with nice facilities and friendly manager. Although we didn't get to visit it this trip, there is an excellent County Park just 1/2 mile down the County Road from the New Life RV park (See my previous post.)

Rockport: October 23-30, 2013

Rockport, TX is one of our family's favorite destinations.  For this trip, we stayed at the Ancient Oaks RV Park.  This is a nice Good Sam park with a good mix of permanent residents and part time folks like us.

October 15-23, 2013: Houston to the San Antonio Area

On 15-16 October, 2013, we closed on our new (to us) RV.  

Houston:  BW8 @ US59

While the technicians were working out the few "bugs" in this unit, we spent our first night on the RV lot underneath the US59 / BW8 interchange in Houston.

Things We'll Miss

After a few delays, Bonnie and I finally closed on the sell of our Austin home yesterday.  And, as we vacated our Georgetown rental home at the end of September, BB, Henri and me are now officially homeless - (in a good way).

This will be an interesting month.

It appears we will close on selling our Austin home around the 1st of October. We must vacate our rental home in Georgetown by the end of September.  Everything in both houses has to be gone and both properties scrubbed clean before then.

Circles and Circles and the ANSWER to the No 1 Question Everyone Asks!

As BB and I prepare for a major change in our lives (selling one home, moving out of our rental home, dispossessing ourselves of a significant amount of the "things" we have accumulated over the years, and moving into an RV on a full-time basis), the concept of circles keeps occurring to me.
