According to Wikipedia, Big Nose Kate was a Hungarian-born prostitute, and later long-time companion and common law wife of Doc Holiday. In 1876, Kate moved to Fort Griffin, Texas and met Wyatt Earp and begin her association with Doc Holiday. Doc was reported to have said that Kate was his "intellectual equal."
Big Nose Kate's Saloon in Tombstone, was once called the Grand Hotel, and was built in 1880. Ike Clanton and two of the Mclaury brothers stayed in the hotel the night before the famous gunfight at the OK corral.

From there, we went to visit Boot Hill. Located on the northwest corner of Tombstone, the cemetery is home to 300 persons, 200 of which are identified. The facility is managed by the City of Tombstone. Unfortunately, many of the Chinese and Jewish immigrants were buried without record.
